Blame the consumers, they set it up so that most workers don't get holidays off. I mean shyt even 25-30 years ago, you were assured most federal Holidays, now a lot of jobs have you working everyday except Christmas.

What? Blame the companies. If everyone decided to close on Thanksgiving, New Year's, etc. would the population really complain that loudly?

Yes, consumers drives trends. You got people who don't even stay home on Thanksgiving after they eat. They go out shopping right away.
