I have no interest in anime. Never will. That won't stop me from dating someone who is interested in it. That it, unless, this consumes him and that's all he has to talk about. You need to be more than anime. Maybe that's the problem. It's all you talk about. Offer more. Do you want to sit there and listen to a woman who goes on and on about her reality shows?

I want you to succeed in dating (if you are looking for a meaningful relationship), but I have to say, the complaining is a turn off.

Be MORE than anime. Surely, this doesn't identify you.

I went to a nerdy school for computer engineering
-I build servers for fun/money
-I write short stories and poetry
-I do digital art as my biggest hobby
-I write java applets and powershell scripts to make my work life easier
-I listen to classical music when I code

Are these nerdy interest?

No women I have ever talked to has seen these as a turnoff. Maybe its because its not ALL that I do, I also go to basketball/football games, go out to eat, go out to party, go to concerts, etc.

You can go to a hip hop night, play final fantasy hungover, read up on business, go to the gym, then check on your girlfriend later whilst planning a trip abroad.

Many brehs have played or play video games. They may only play a little bit a week but many brehs do. Many girls have probably seen a PS4 or a Xbone at their man's crib. I don't think that scares them away. What might scare them away is if he is playing 5 hours a day after work when she's over.

2. Anime

I don't know a single breh who cant throw a kamehameha. But to answer honestly, would you sit her down and force her to watch hours of anime with you? Or would you treat anime as any other TV show and just say to yourself "I like this show but she doesn't" I like a lot of TV shows that my gfs in the past didn't care much for. I'm not going to watch dexter around a girl who can't stand the sight of blood

3. Sci-Fi

You can book this breh, StarWars will do numbers never before seen in movie history. If you watch a little sci-fi i'm sure its all good. If that's all you do... then it defines you.

TL;DR, everything in moderation unless if defines you. If it defines you, find someone who is also defined by it.
