It doesnt leave you to "beg" women but it does make it so that you have to get her to look past that interest that she deems undesirable.

If she's less interested, then you know you are with the wrong lady. Most women know men in general love video games, some see it as childish but they are usually high-strung and not the ones for you.

Most people from my generation love at least one anime. It's not hard to get them into it. Start off with a convo about pikachu or sailor moon, then tell her about FMA or Inuyasha, tell her how anime is for all ages and mention Attack on Titan or Michiko & Hatchin. Anime is a medium more than a genre, there's something she'll like.
