I think we're overreactioning
Graham has never shot even 40% from the field in his NBA career yet

He’s dark skinned Ricky Rubio with a streaky 3 point shot, but with not as good defense or floor general ability

He is what he is. I think he’d be a good spark plug off the bench

They’re gonna have to rely heavily on the front court for their defensive presence. Unfortunately any talent evaluator worth their salt could see Hart’s impact over Graham, who has shot below 40% every single year of his young career so far and he doesn’t guard anybody :francis:

Larry Nance Jr was a nice pick up to bolster their defensive versatility especially when they wanna play small ball. But I’m not sure how he’ll look coming off surgery

I think when you look at the trade details. I think this is what Griff and them expected. Play-in at most.

Graham, Jose, Kira, Temple and CJ can't co-exist and win games.

About 3 of them got to go in the offseason.

I do like seeing what CJ can do as a PG after getting in a solid off season here. I think he can make that transition and actually get more juice out of his career. He just got reinvent himself, but that's really hard for an NBA player to do.

Right now... The biggest problem is that is really hard for us to fall all the way down to 4th to save our pick. So, we need lottery magic.

My favorite guy to get is probably Jaden Ivey, but he's looking the 2nd overall pick now. Tough bet to make.

fukking hate this idea if we have no picks in the draft, but bring in Brogdon to play combo. Move TM3 to back up SG and pray on him getting over the rookie wall.

Ship Temple, Kira, and Graham to the shadow realm.

I doubt Pels will get Ivey, they look like they’re all in on this play-in push thing and they’re gonna win just enough games to play themself out of a favorable pick

Really this team is just one piece away. Whether that’s the return of Zion & getting him acclimated and committed to both sides of the ball (and dieting :pachaha:), or a lead guard to run the offense.

I think CJ at the 1 would be fine, I do like the fit with Brogdon, the problem with bringing him in is that not only will he play 50 something games max if he ain’t load managed, but he’ll take away PT for the young talents that need further development in TM3, Herb, even Jose

Pelicans always be doing some bullshyt and never tank. So, we should never get our hopes up.

So, it's literally lottery magic or Laker pick.

Lakers pick... Bennedict Mathurin? If not him or even maybe Johnny Davis. BPA with Jovic? I still would trade for Brogdon regardless and roll the dice. Pacer are probably selling low on him in the off season.

I think the best offseason would be

Zion healthy
TM3 comes to life as a SG back up
Trade for Brogdon
Get a real PF in Novic

CJ Jose Kira
Brogdon TM3
Ingram Herb Naji
Zion Larry Novic
Jonas Hayes Willy

Thats a shyt ton of versatility, size, and upside , but that's a lot of faith in Brogdon and TM3 if you don't draft a guard. But Ingram would probably just slide up to SG. Herb becomes starter.
