I wonder what Pacers are gonna do with Brogdon, Turner, and Hield.

I honestly like to acquire Malik Monk in FA and trade for Turner. I'd take a Brogdon and Turner combo if that's the only way to get Turner is to take on Brogdon, but that would force us to gut the following players.

Graham
Willy
Kira
Temple
Naji

Try to get Brogdon healthy and try to flip him at the deadline.

If you end up drafting Ivey, Mathurin or Sharpe.

I would prefer going Monk and Turner. I would like to combo up Jonas with a above average level 5 with some Rim protection. Jonas Willy and Hayes isn't a championship rotation and it needs to be improve.

Big no to Hield.

CJ - Jose
Benedict - Trey - Monk
Ingram - Jones - Naji
Zion - Nance - Hayes
Val - Myles Turner - Vet Min

Thats a squad with elite upside
What makes you think Turner is willing to come off the bench:dwillhuh:

:mjlol: Ya'll legit wanna play a dude that hasn't played since April 2021 to ramp up to play meaningful playoff basketball?
The ceiling on this team this year with Zion is at least a WCF appearance. Yeah, I wanna play him. Those shyts not guaranteed :dahell:.

The equation's changed, and all that safe shyt went out the window when we were no longer simply chasing the 8th seed. :camby:

It's time to stop being scared, and let him play for 15-20 minutes. :yeshrug:

I can't believe I'm saying this based on where we started but it's a slap in the face to the whole team if the front office doesn't let him play. Zion is the kind of cat that plays himself into shape, he ain't ever going to come into a season looking like Duke Zion.

If Griff won't clear him, it's time to officially rule him shut down for the season because this "will he won't he" shyt is a dub.

We have an opportunity to be truly special, Griff won't recover if he lets fear of criticism keep Zion from the court.

No, it's not. :mjlol:

I get it, I'm excited, too. But, no.

Paul George came back, after missing 3 months, during the regular season. He dropped 34 and;

George hit 5 of 7 shots, including 3 of 4 3-pointers, in the third quarter, when he erupted for 20 of his points to help the Clippers erase a 25-point deficit with 8:07 remaining in the frame. He made 6 of 9 3-pointers for the game.

After mulling surgery, PG's 34 spark Clips in return

That man has a complete game and didn't miss that much time.

Zion JUST started doing light 5 on 5 shyt and ya'll want him to come back in the next week? He would have to BANG in the post for his point UNLESS he found a jumpshot while out with a broke foot.

His Defense would be on 0 and his conditioning would be terrible.

Oh, yea, HE MIGHT GET HURT AGAIN. Zion broke his foot and hasn't played real basketball for atleast 8 months (they said he broke it sometime before August 2021).

This is not how pro basketball, playoff basketball works :mindblown:

Did ya'll just not see Luka, Ja AND Devin Booker get hurt?

There's never going to be a world where there is a 0% risk of injury when Zion steps on the court. If that's the goal then he'll never play again. He's been rehabbing for almost a year, he aint getting any better not playing real basketball. He comes into the game and would immediately give you more than what Devonte or Naji are providing. Start him off at 15 minutes and ramp him up from there.

Not striking while the iron is hot is some p*ssy shyt. We'd beat the Suns with Zion, we'd beat Utah or Dallas with Zion, and from there we'd see happens.

The opportunity's revealed itself, this is the year.

If the Pels can advance to the 2nd round and Zion’s compley healed and is in playing shape I don’t see the harm in starting him off on minutes restriction.

There’s a lot of boxes to check before we get to that point tho. And I’m concerned about how he’ll gel with the team defensively

Guys like Jonas just cant play in these playoffs. Memphis shut down Adams too. Gobert gets criticized every year. Either Jaxson turns into that guy or they need to go find one.

a little bit of success has brought out the bytch in too many Pels fans. :beli:

We bytching about referring and one play where Book touched CJ like that's the game.

Maybe letting Chris Paul go Point Gawd 2008 on us--again in the 4th--was apart of the problem
