I think Looney is getting burn as a favor to him to show other teams he can play. Bell is a 1st round rookie that will certainly be under contract next season so hell be back, Looney not so much.

If Looney wasnt getting extended minutes during this run and he went into FA im not sure anyone wouldve been interested. We saw this happen to McAdoo last year when he didnt get any minutes and so this year he collected his ring and was never seen again
