I never understand what yall want sometimes...

Oh this too chatty patty, oh this not harlem.....Yall be bringing that booth mentality shyt up in here. The whole point of TLR is unfiltered random conversation...so when folks do that, folks catch feelings and shyt.

Race always gonna be a hot topic, and since majority of the other subforums don't really deal with race often, its all gotta go somewhere.

exactly

op reminiscing about the "good old days" when he could misogyny in peace. doesn't like those ideas being challenged.

now he wants to find a new basement where like-minded sexism reigns and they can talk about treating their non-existent women like interchangeable sex maids without getting called out

Reminiscent of white supremacist attitudes ain't it? Men like this treat gender the same way racist white people treat race.

Questioning the belongingness of "the other",
calling for the further marginalization of those that are different,
falsely blaming other groups for issues,
seeking to remove voice, influence and agency from those that are different,
resenting cultural change, growing tolerance and equity-based accommodations,

like you said, longing for "the good ol days".

Lmao, see this is what I'm talking about, simply wanting one space in this increasingly pc and pussified society where men can talk like men and not have to worry about hurting someone's feelings is equivalent to me not wanting my ideas challenged and being a white supremacist??? The emotion lol. The ideas don't even get challenged that's not how debates go in a feminized society...

It goes
-insert wild claim
-opponent brings data and experiences to counter claim
-opponent is attacked, his masculinity and sexuality is questioned.
-if opponent continues to argue his point, the next move is to laugh it off and act like the argument is beneath me.

And for the record I believe black and white people should have enough distance to talk shyt about each other in privacy. And men need time away from women.

Today's man has to be "on" for women 24/7. Always around, always policing the tone, looking for something to be offended about. The insecurity of women is astounding, no wonder its so easy to manipulate you all as,a group

textbook.

yep. just replace women for black people in his last paragraph and it reads like a racist complaining about having to watch their mouths around "sensitive" blacks.

somehow it never occurs to them that instead of complaining about society being too pc, they could always, ya know, try not being racists.

"I should be able to call a black woman the kryptonite of the black community and black unity and not be labeld a misogynist!:mjpls:"

Also you catch the irony of him bytching about not wanting to be challenged yet he vows for a space for men to do just that?:bryan:

Wtf are you 2 even talking about? I'm talking about a space where women aren't the focus of the conversation. Like at all lol. Not negative, not positive, nothing.

Are black men really that far gone that we can't even have conversations that dont involve women? Like even for an hour or two a day? Jesus

Then have the conversation you want to have instead of crying and grandstanding about it, for fukk sake.

I mean you act like you say shyt that's pertinent anyway and not secondhanded drivel.

Way to be condescending towards the very people you're trying to converse with online tho, that always help.

I'm trying to get that conversation started, but you just literally equated men needing a "man space" with civil rights violations and Jim crow. But I'm grandstanding?

But ok, thanks for the input, from here on I'll soften my rhetoric in the ladies room.

No you're actually not, see you literally are making the conversation revolve around women from the jump. They were your main focal point.

And then, maybe you misread or didn't grasp the syntax of the statements highlighted (it happens) but @TIK and @cam> essentially pointed out the fact what you continued on to state sounded on par with what white nationalist/bigots say about black people.

It sucks, but that's exactly what it read like, hence why I added my childish comment in.

I mean if you're gonna converse and be all raw with it, at least be upfront and not be a bullshytter. Not everybodies masculinity (online) is as fragile as yours bro.
