True. You have to credit him for usually guarding the opposing team's best player even if that means he sometimes gets torched. (See that Knicks series) He's a solid defender. Not locking anybody up. He's been balling two games in, though.

That is the question. In the regular season, at home, he only averaged 4.5 points on 37% shooting (32% from the 3).

Nobody's suggesting that Battier wasn't straight in the playoffs before this and the regular season before that. What I am saying is that on the biggest stage in basketball he's playing out of this mind, and is a huge reason why this series is tied after two games. Unexpected performances like this are what make the game so beautiful brehs.
