I thought Jones had to take that shot. Harden tried to drive and got cut off so he passed out and Jones immediately passed back to him when he was already double teamed. Jones taking a perimeter shot isn't the #1 option but passing up an open shot is known to fukk up an offensive set unless someone else has a better shot.

Same scenario I was thinking, they still had numbers around / near the basket for a possible tip in.


I like Jones, I do (no homo), but that cat needs to stop being so hesitant.

Harden should have never passed the ball the first time. He had gained enough space on Curry to take a good shot (likely stepback) prior to passing it up. Hell, he could have at least drove to the rim, he was getting all the calls late.

Nevertheless, I'm starting to realize how damn good the Beard really is. Not just about drawing fouls.

We can take both in Houston. It wouldn't be easy but there's no fear of them... it's just a matter of can we keep the fukkups to a minimum. 2nd straight game we came out strong only to lose all momentum in the 2nd quarter... to our credit, we got it back before halftime but we just can't be losing focus like that. Prigioni was pissing me off and i'm glad Mchale benched him the rest of the way. And I wish TJones played like that in the first game.
