The most puzzling thing of the playoffs for me has been the fact that you can correctly say this after they just played Memphis. The hard-nosed, physical, grit and grind Grizz didn't touch Steph up once :why: Instead they just let him dance all over the place and couldnt wait to congratulate him after losing :scust:

They're the WOAT for that shyt.
Conley was hurt. He couldnt fight thru a screen for shyt. Very limited on defense. Then Allen got hurt. It was a wrap after that.

I want to see how Curry handles physical play though. Pat Bev would be perfect for this series. Rockets only have one viable perimeter defender (Ariza) and he doesn't seem to ever be guarding Curry. Damn shame whats happening in the NBA with these injuries though

Yup. Still think the Cavs can beat them though. They wont get this favorable officiating like they been getting the last two games against LeBron and Cavs are a better matchup for them then the Rockets.
Eh, I had Cavs over GS in 6 back when the playoffs started but I can't stick with that. Not with 2 of their Big 3 hobbled/out of commission and the Warriors like 11 deep and healthy.

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
I thought I was alone on this. Warriors arent as good as I originally thought they were or how the media portrayed them. Two games where the Rockets probably shouldve won on the road where everyone was expecting blowouts, especially at the Oracle

This series is going 7 imo.

I have two main problems with GS. I think teams generally take on the personality of their best player. For a team that hasn't won anything, they have too many effort lulls in the Playoffs. They made some adjustments against the Grizz, but the two games they lost the Grizz just played harder than GS. When GS matched their intensity, the series was over. When they've played equally as hard as their opposition, they've looked far superior to them. But, they have prolonged periods of "chill mode" where they don't play as hard. Some of that is Steph rubbing off on the team, because he has a super laid-back almost carefree demeanor on the court.

This goes into my second issue, they're so casual with the basketball. My only real criticism of Steph as a player is how casual he is with the ball at times, particularly when dribbling up court or pressed. It leads to some silly turnovers that are completely avoidable. I also think this rubs off on the team.

If they match Houston's intensity from the onset next game and don't go into chill mode for a quarter, I think they'll win. If they're content with being up 2-0, they're getting housed.

Regardless, I think they win in 6.

[QUOTE="Brozay, post: 13510028, member: 404"]I was right about Dubs/Griz :francis:

They will split in Houston, and the series ends at the Oracle game 5

Warriors are going to have a night where they blow this team the fukk out, its coming
conley out there dying. tony allen barely played the last 3 games, and we had to play eff green. that ain't saying much.

if all the rockets were contributing, I'd agree. curry has had way more help than harden at home and they're barely winning. they looking evenly matched to me.

Nah, I fully expect a Dubs blowout in one of the next two games (they've been doing it all season)

Harden played out his ass tonight, hes gonna have a game in HOU where he struggles from the field

and then I dont see the Dubs losing an elimination game at the Oracle

Watching the replay, Harden's issue is having no right hand.

He threw to Howard for relief to get the pass back and like an idiot went right back to his LEFT like the Warriors don't read the scouting report.

TWICE this nikka had the opportunity to go right where there was an opening and he goes left.

nikka better develop that right hand in the offseason :francis:
He did that give it up to get it back shyt out of instinct, but didn't have the time or space to operate. If that was anyone else but Howard he at least draws one of the defenders but they had no reason to leave James so he was fukked. If anything, after passing he shouldve come to the ball and had Dwight screen on the hand off.
