Same thing with the projects on Potrero Hill. My brother lives adjacent to those projects in a nice townhome. Every time I visit him I hear gunshots but the views are immaculate.
I wondered the same thing growing up in Lakeview on Randolph Street back in the 80's and early 90's.
I'm an 83' baby and when I lived in the View, minding your business was the code of the streets. You ain't wanna be a witness like Cougnut said. shyt was not friendly over there as a kid. I lived off Ramsell. I never ran the streets as a kid because you had to be with the shyt for real back then. This is back when youngsters was off the porch hustling rocks and shyt before they even hit puberty. But I used to see Cellski, Cougnut, SB, Baldhead Rick, Big Drama and all of them when they were younger. Me and Killa Keise (RIP) was the same age. Paypa Boy and them were a little younger. RIP to all the fallen homies from the View.Im sure we know the same people if you were around back then.
The city is just an anomaly by itself.
Dam the government didn’t even remediate the land? I wonder if folks living in this area suffer different ailments attributed to the contamination?Because of the contaminated waste left behind at the naval shipyard.
