I wondered the same thing growing up in Lakeview on Randolph Street back in the 80's and early 90's. The view outside my window was crazy looking at the hills in the distance. But back then, you not really spending much time outside unless you wanted to get Ricky'd like Boyz 'N The Hood. :damn:Truth be told, Cali hoods as a whole don't look run down like Detroit, Baltimore etc.

But the projects in Frisco in Sunnydale, the Point etc. used to be hella fukked up living conditions. Raw sewage pouring out of buildings and shyt, nikkas living in half burnt down apartments. :picard:

How is it that one of the most notorious housing projects in the state, has one of the most splendid views in the country? Hunters-Point Bayview has a beautiful location. Overlooking the bay, way up in the hills, yet it’s one of more dangerous areas in the Bay Area. Same with Marin City projects. It’s like the Bay Area is so scenic and beautiful that they can’t even find less than scenic land to build housing projects at. Lakeview, Sunnydale, all grimy but scenic. Filmoe not as scenic, but the buildings are historic and beautiful. San Francisco is natural scenery and architecture porn. :dead:
Hell to tf no! I want there w/ my boy one time cuz he was supposed to meet w/some girls. That shyt looked hella ominous. nikkas looked like real life zombies bra. I remember while we were talkin to the girls we could hear a nikka screaming for his life in the distance. shyt, a nikka tried us, one the girls started screaming and shyt lmao

Not sure if it’s anomaly. There’s literally a giant housing project right next to the Brooklyn bridge.

No Mountain View’s but views of all the famous bridges and skyscrapers. Neighbors across the street paying 6K for rent for 1 bedroom

Doesn’t the rooftop of Queensbridge projects have some good views of Manhattan?
There are public housing projects in Manhattan next to some of the greatest landmarks but yea Queensbridge and Astoria projects have some beautiful views of nyc.

Projects in the rockaways and Coney Island are basically apartments that oversee the beach and Atlantic ocean

yea when ppl talk about how dirty my city is (philly) i call out racism. San Fran is by far the dirtiest nasty ass city I ever been to and people rarely characterize it as that cause it's mostly white and wealthy. San fran you need to constantly watch where you step and walk, and not just in the hood....EVERYWHERE
