Finished season four last night and it is better than season three but I needed more from it. I did love the under the table scene at the wedding reception.

No reason they go into season five still grieving about Mikey, wrap that sh!t up immediately. Also I don’t know much about Italian genetics but no way is Neil, Ted, John Cena and Brie Larson are believable as siblings. Nah.

.... the Faks and Richie are all supposed to be of Eastern European / Jewish-ancestry . . . . a similar question i have is about "Donna Berzatto" who is 100% Polish based on her being the biological-sister to Uncle Jimmy whose last name is "Kalinowski" . . . meanwhile - she has the gold bull-horn pendant and her kitchen is Italian-American-centric . . . . Culture Vulture ?!?!!!

Finally finished the season…glad I’m not the only one who feels this show has gotten too pretentious and became more and more of a chore to watch.

I still think it does a lot of things really well. Especially on the artistic side, but they leaned too much into it. I’m sure the film nerds still love the show, but for the masses it detracted from the overall entertainment of the show.

Syd’s hair episode was my favorite. Being Black, it was relatable to stories I’ve heard from women in my family about getting their hair done at someone’s house (and things I’ve personally witnessed). Thought that was really well done and not something I’ve seen depicted on screen before like that. The wedding episode was the most overrated; felt like a cheap imitation of Fishes.

On the story front Carmy really fukked over Syd and I think they glossed over that. They let him spin in like she was the one betraying The Bear and Carmy forgave her for that. Such bullshyt. Carmy knew she was fielding other offers and keeps his plan to quit quiet so she can’t make an informed decision. That’s snake shyt. Syd should’ve called him on that.

Nah carmy sees that Sydney can be better than him (the timing with Tina storyline) and he sees how Marcus has progressed with a little push

He completely fukked up the dream they had by being selfish in his own head.

So he was trying to finally do the right thing and step away. Hes a emotionally stunted guy who doesn't realize he doesn't have to stop doing one thing to improve another

Unfortunately for him he is the fukking glue for all the major characters. And once again does something selfish but thinks its selfless

The only issue I have with this show is that they haven't done enough with syd and carmy working on recipes and shyt for the restaurant. They give tidbits then move onto the personal drama. The cooking drama is just as good lol

I know that Carmy sees that; he explicitly said that. But that’s not his choice to make. Syd is a grown woman capable of making her own decisions.
