The Bears made a mistake to take Caleb Williams over Jayden Daniels

To early to write Caleb off but it must hurt knowing you could have had Daniels and he's balling out. Washington have gone from number 2 pick in the draft to the NFC championship game, and Bears had better weapons going into the season.

Washington clearly has a better coaching staff and front office. The Cowboys were bad and Dak missed most of the season. The Giants were abysmal. Washington had a clear path to be #2 in the division.

Chicago had Detroit, Minny, and Green Bay in front of them. All three teams have stability at coaching while the Bears stupidly had Caleb play for a lame duck plus hired the OC all the players in Seattle hated.

Jayden Daniels would not be looking like this in Chicago same way CJ wouldn't have looked as good in Carolina. Let these guys develop at their own pace.

We can't evaluate things this soon. Jayden has the head start but things can flip quickly in the NFL.

We all can agree that Jayden Daniels would’ve brought more wins to that Bears team than Caleb Williams did because he is the superior QB. If you don’t believe that, you are just trying to cope. Jayden is a true student of the game. Is the first one in the building at 4:00 in the morning. He’s a film rat too and prepares his ass off. His temperament is different as well. You don’t see him pouting or getting emotional like Caleb. True leader that elevated a no name WR core with the exception of Scary Terry. Commanders o-line is not that great either.

Let’s be real. Caleb had more talent around him. You heard everyone say he had the best situation or a top rookie QB ever. Now people are moving the goalposts and talking about how sorry his team was? He didn’t elevate that team. I saw him fukkin up a lot. His deep ball is ass and his progressions and decision making are nowhere near JD5.

Not saying Caleb’s a bum or anything, but he does not reside on Jayden’s tier.

Naw Breh a QB should still be successful with a bad oline,terrible coaching staff and a borderline awful GM who continue to ignore the oline a great QB should be able to overcome all of that and be great ...football isn't a team sport Breh if you got the QB you should be in the playoffs every year

We're talking here in the NFL. Caleb has looked overwhelmed and lost on simple plays. He takes bad sacks. Theres nothing to suggest switching the two results in the same outcome. Caleb isnt even ready emotionally.

Jayden made some big boy throws yesterday. He has a feel for the game that many of the greats have. His teammates seems to love him as well.

Caleb has his work cut out for him to live up to his draft status.

Caleb played like trash all game, then in the 4th drove down the field twice and got to the goal line giving Chicago great chances to win.
