Several teams are reportedly interested and Cutler has been a disappointment this year, just like he's been a disappoint his entire career :lolbron:. In truth Cutler is not getting better. The Bears should trade him to a QB hungry team, draft a QB and ride that QB next season. The worst case scenario in wake of a trade is that the rookie QB leads the Bears to a top pick next year whereupon the Bears can draft a QB in the top 5.

never underestimate the stupidity of some of these front offices. same type of front office that would sign these mediocre ass qbs for huge money like matt ryan and jay cutler would trade picks for them. theres plenty of teams with trip style qb lust, and wouldnt hesitate to trade for him

I once thought NFL front offices were like omniscient black boxes whose decisions are unknowable to the rest given all the extra information, but evidence shows differently. Many of these front offices just stick with players and QBs because they are afraid of doing something different, probably because failing with an unknown QB looks worse than failing with laser arm white Jay Cutler. :yeshrug:

That said, if Cutler was always going to suck, as many people thought he would, it would have made more sense to trade him before it was clear he does suck. Instead the Bears' front office "leads from behind".

I'm still on the fence about Matt Ryan but he's steadily reaching Cutler status--:trash:--too. If Atlanta thinks Ryan isn't a game changer at QB, they might as well see if they can get a 1st for him and draft Jameis. But again they won't. Why? Because losing with rookie QB Jameis looks worse than losing with Pro Bowler Matt Ryan, regardless of record.

You would have to give me an RG3-esque type deal to take Cutler off your hands. 3 1st round picks, a 2nd round pick, a couple of CB's, and a bag to cover his ugly as face would get the job done. :obama:
