Bee Gees are known worldwide.
Even have the song that pretty much defines the 70s. I dont know how people are picking Hall and the other dude.
Why is that? Maybe because im not Ados , so i cant understand why someone would pick Hall and Oates over the bee gees.Think about it like this.
Say you about to play Stairway to Heaven around a group of white people, then say you about to play it around a group of black people. People are going to think about a completely different song. So while Bee Gees may be more popular with with folks, Hall and Oates is going to dominate with black folks. It depends on the audience.

Being honest , the only song i know from Oats is ManEater while Bee Gees have (in my opinion) classics such as how deep is your love, too much heaven and more than a woman. is it that Bee Gees non-hits songs are more mediocre?
H&O is good, but they don't have a song better than More Than A Woman
I think being from Philly played a big part. They give love to black music especially the Philadelphia sound. Why is that? Maybe because im not Ados , so i cant understand why someone would pick Hall and Oates over the bee gees.

All people need to do is watch them Darryl’s House episodes to understand what you’re saying. Dude used to rock out with everybodyBecause Hall and Oates has more of that funk/soul sound that black folks will rock with till the end of time.
