in my last year of computer science, need to just tough it out

I just started learning python. Last time I took programming I was learning C+ ages ago and I struggled.

I'm hoping I'm more focused now but...

Many universities are starting to implement Data Science programs in their School of Engineering. Back when I was in college, there was no such thing. You learned programming, but there wasn't a dedicated drive to create an entire program focused solely on data.

I’m absolutely awful at math and I’m kinda slow

Yeah I hate to say this but I still don’t know how to multiply, Divide, fractions etc. I cheated in every math class all four years.

But on the flip side I had AP English, AP Chem, AP Bio all that shyt. I’ve written essays and shyt that got awards/recognition. But can’t do long division to save my life

I went to a private school right when I started mutliplying dividing ....


And the lady was flipino and had a strong accent


I was completely lost I still am

I majored in an Engineering field that I stop using three months after college and work in the Cyber Security field. Very little math used .


I have a very general title, these days I just self learn and toss it on my resume. If I know it, how will you know what I truly did.

My Nigerian friend does this and makes banks. Self learn Machine Learning, Kubernetes n making bank. My view on tech is that I can get the same info from where a professor is getting it from...why not save the debt? And self learn.

Lol hit up Youtube breh there are tons of channels teaching the basic programming concepts. If you want to get a job in the field find out what skills are in demand, learn those skills, build something to show your knowledge, apply for a job asking for those skills, interview well, and then 6 Certs, 6 Figures, 6 Dimes, 6 Series, etc
