We've all got a handful of items that we regard as "the goat". It could be a cell phone or a TV or a set of tires or whatever. This thread is for all that shyt, to inform the masses about a product that far surpassed your expectations. I'll go first.
The best headphones I've ever owned:
Amazon.com: Klipsch IMAGE S4 In-Ear Enhanced Bass Noise-Isolating Headphones (Black): Electronics
If you're familiar with Klipsch then you already know this will be a quality product. I got these headphones about a year ago as a recommendation from my dad who is an audiophile. He said these were the 2nd best headphones he's ever used, and cost about $300 less than the next closest set. The quality is undeniable; these shyts are dope.
Pros: Deep bass. Very clear and loud. Good range.
Cons: The earbuds don't stay in my ear during movement, so I can't use them at the gym.
The best flashlight I've ever owned:
Amazon.com: Fenix PD30R2 6 Level 235 Lumen LED Flashlight: Sports & Outdoors
Truly the GOAT flashlight ever created.
*space added for emphasis*
Ok so... Everything in life has compromises. Nothing is supposed to be perfect, but this flashlight... is. Most folks I know have Mag Lite flashlights, and w/o getting too detailed, those things are trash. If Mag Lites are Fords then this Fenix is an Aston Martin. It really is that good. Long story short, if you're a flashlight guy, buy this.
Pros: Ridiculous brightness in a tiny package. Easily 5 or 6 times brighter than a mag lite, even on its lowest setting.
Very compact and durable. It's about 4 inches long, and the width of maybe 3 pencils.
Bright. Bright as shyt. On the lowest setting, it's brighter than any flashlight you've probably ever owned. On it's highest setting, it's blinding (by design).
Several modes of use, from economy (which I always use) to turbo (the brightest setting which you would use if you were trying to knock a helicopter out of the sky) to tactical (a blinding flashing setting to evade attackers).
Cons: Uses expensive lithium batteries, but they seem to last a long time. I got mine on Xmas of 2010 and still haven't had to replace the batteries.
