That's the reasoning behind Reigns delayed coronation and all the Ls he's had in the last 3 years. It's the most retarded booking we've seen from WWE maybe ever. They diminish the guy they want as their n°1 because they've convinced themselves that losing makes people either feel bad for the loser or believe the company doesn't like him, therefore when he actually wins, they wont see him as protected guy that Vince favors. It's been 3 fukking years since he last held the main belt and they've tried to tell an underdog story with him in the most backwards and least effective way possible
I'm just hoping Roman wins clean and we can end this fued. Don't even have Braun cash in or some fukkery occur. Just end it and be done with it. They've basically held the whole company back with it. Either they need to show some confidence in him without the tricks or start looking for someone else to take the top guy mantle. Wasted close to half a decade being scared of not getting the reaction they want and effectively bottlenecking and keeping everyone's career stagnant, including both of them, in the process.
