It's one of those films that takes a few watches to really sink in.
My first watch I didn't understand why the film had become a cult classic.
Now after about 20 watches it's one of my favorite films of all time.

First saw it when I was 12 while vacationing at my cousin's house in Sweden. I was the only person crying laughing at the shyt that was on screen, everybody else on some 
like are we watching the same thing? Tried to introduce it to other friends later on with mixed results...one of my closest homeboys just NOW realizes just how brilliant the film is after dogging it for so many years. The theme of male castration really messed me up when I first discovered it and analyzed it for myself...I would have never picked out something like that on the level that I appreciated the film but it opened up my entire world to really exploring other themes/motifs that the Cohen brothers were trying to explore.

Going with the flow doesn't mean letting someone kill you lol. There's whole fighting styles based on going with the flow. Mayweather made a career out of counter punching and rolling with people's punches and using their forward momentum to walk them into clean counters
