I love a lot of those but aren't all decent east coast songs from the late 80's to mid nineties called timeless?

Opinions are subljective but again...u arent qualified to speak on Hip Hop....You disregarding EPMDs influence on the G Funk sound proves this.

This was a West Coast inspired album that dropped in 1991 by Priority records. Notice which song they have as the absolute last..

..EPMD's "So What Ya Saying" which at the time was 2 years old and from an East Coast group meanwhile everyone else is from The West/South and their songs were recent. The same song that Dr Dre would later use for "Stranded On Death Row" and Ice Cube used for Jacking For Beats. EPMD werent even gansgter rappers let alone not being the biggest on a mainstream level yet that song was placed on the album. For a song to not be timeless as u say, it sure did keep up popping up years later, so who am I gonna believe?

And nikkas fukk with the big tymers ? :mjlol:

Exactly.

Everytime we hear 2Pacs California Love Remix we are all reminded of EPMD's influence on the game. Dre had to use a beat EPMD already ran thru to give Pac his first Billboard #1 hit that charted for weeks. There are zero Big Tymer songs that can say the same.

nikkas really think Manny Fresh >>> Erick Sermon when it comes to production?? :mindblown:

When Big Tymers had a hit single with "Get Ya Roll On" Eric dropped this as a single and it was a hit..

E just came in during the new millinium era of new rappers and put out an undeniable hit...after his prime. I have yet to see Mannie Fresh put out a hit song of such magnitude after his prime....even tho I would like to cuz I fuxx with Mannie Fresh.

them nikkas shouldn't be respected they fake
instead of hitting blocks with glocks and touching nikkas money spots
and breaking bread with the woman that put em in that spot
these nikkas wanna trick wit these hoes, and play with their nose
instead of totin 44's and moving fukkin kilo's"

:wtf:

mannie fresh had plenty of hits after his prime.

and that was not out the same year as "get your roll on". and it was mainly a hit because of the marvin gaye thing.

:stopitslime:

Fresh is better then the production team that inspired the G Funk movement?

yes indeed.

I read all your posts and you havent even given a breakdown explaining such a claim.

Its responses like this that make me wonder if someone like Redman might have curved you when u went for an autograph or maybe Keith Murray snuffed you when you were kids in Grade School.

I'ma just end this bullsh*t right now

Lets talk about inspiration:

Strictly Business inspired Warren G's I Shot The Sherriff
Let It Flow isnpired Nas' "Nastradamus"
You Gots To Chill inspired "Biggie, Ice Cube, South Central Cartel and countless West Coast rappers"
Its My Thing inspired Jay Z's "Aint No Nikka"
Your A Customer inspired Jodecis' "Come and Talk To Me remix"
So What You Saying inspired "Dr Dre's "Stranded On Death Row" and Ice Cubes "Jacking For Beats"
Get The Bozack inspired DMX's "Where My Dogs At
Please Listen To My Demo inspired Kriss Kross' "Tonights Da Night" and Ice Cubes "Record Company Pimpin"
Knick Knack Patty Wack inspired 2pacs' California Love remix"
Rampage inspired "Cypress Hills" How I could just kill a man"
For My people inspired The Games "no more fun and games the game"
Brothers On My Jock inspired "Ghostfaces "Daytona 500"
Underground inspired Black Moons "How Many emcees"
Headbanger inspired Ruff Ryders "Ruff Ryders Anthem"

"You're A Customer" alone was refered to as The EPMD beat when Jodeci dropped Come And Talk To Me remix...The same with Jay Z's "Aint No Nikka"

The fact that you would actually ask such a question as to what classics do EPMD have and then on top of tha tto put Big Tymers(Who I actually like but arent as inspirational overall) tells me u are not qualified to speak about Hip Hop in general.
I knew they had classics, but I wanted HIS opinion so I asked
