I'd say it depends on the woman and if she keeps her hygiene in order but there's a reason why people assume that in the first place...usually they are talking about fat (when I say fat I MEAN IT) women.
Probably taking protein to get the fat ass which many women do. Also its about diet and having to much salt in it. Bacteria on the skin is breaking down the sweat which is what causes the odor.
