In hindsight that Austin/McMahon was so good that EVERYONE in every promote tries or has tried to recreate it in some kind of way... they try to make it different to make it look "original" but when you strip away the bullshyt its just an Austin/McMahon rip-off everytime

The magic of Austin/McMahon can never be recreated. It was one of those angles where the stars just aligned at the right time.

What You Will Never Be.
they got no problem with Cena but act like Bryan was Doink simply for being popular and being loved.

Cena is part of the company plan, Bryan Danielson is not.

Y'all so-called nikkas should be ashamed of yourselves for wantin' a white boy to get over so bad while Ron Killings stays gettin' fukked over.

Yep, same with the Attitude Era in general. They need to quit trying to recreate things and simply just put out a better product. Look at the crowd reactions. If you make people feel important, then you'll have a reason to continue to tune in. That was the greatest thing about Attitude, they made everybody from Austin and Rock feel important all the way down to Crash Holly and Steve Blackman. On the flipside today, you have Seth Rollins, your world champ, who is clearly a better wrestler than those two, looking like a goofy ass loser week in and week out.

:dahell:Two years? Breh The Authority has been around since December 1999 when Steph first went heel after her marriage with HHH and Vince left because of heartbreak. The only difference is that: 1. they went by different names over the years (The McMahon/Hemsley Faction, The McMahon/Hemsley Regime, etc....) and 2. we were slightly sick of it then... but we are way sick of it now. Over 15 years of :scust:
Damn theres a kid in high school now probably been tired of them since he was born.

wanted to re-ignite this discussion.

we tend to resent roman sometimes for being in the top spot undeserved, but i think it's time we acknowledge that the mcmahons (and levesques) are also in the top spot undeserved and it's been that way for more than 10 years now. here we are yet again, the company is trying to push a new top baby, fresh off a world title win... and of course his main focus is the authority.

maybe it's time we stop pointing the finger at punk, bryan, seth, roman... and all the other guys we tend to resent for being on top during a ratings plunder when in reality our top stars have always been vince, steph and hhh. they're the constant.

They're the ones who aren't drawing.
