it pretty much sums up what's the problem in black america.
i can give 100 examples but i'm not going to do that. you already know. hell, a lot of you actually exhibit some self hatred towards yourself and your fellow black counterparts simply because of you and their black skin tone. we basically think that because we're black or that the next person skin tone is black that we aren't entitled to happiness in general. yeah, the world may be prejudiced towards black people BUT that shouldn't be an excuse for you to hate yourself or fellow black people outthere for being black.
and before you go out and doubt what i say. look how many posts in here refer to black men as n-words and all the damn racial slurs in the book. how black women are referred to as b!tches. how black people are basically applauded for underachieving, being ignorant, following stereotypes, basically thinking inside the "black box" set apart for them by society and etc. there are people in here that are accept the idea that black people can't do any better or know any better. we accept our self destructiveness as normal. everytime a black man breaks out of the mold of what is expected of him, he gets look down for it. it shouldn't be like that where a black man is being looked down on for working, not spending his money on expensive clothes, chasing after broads everyday, having a baby mama, getting married and having kids and staying committed to his wife, being born and raised in the suburbs, not going off on somebody because they disrespected him and the whole nine. hell, a lot of these stereotypes are basically signs of self destruction.
black people's biggest enemies are themselves.
