Just give me Bluetooth. I hate all that other stuff.

That's exactly what I'm saying... :dahell: All those german car parts with sensors and all that nonsense is not necessary at all...American car makers should really keep it simple too much fancy shyt is not needed. A backup camera, bluetooth and a electric moving drivers seat and the basics.

Agree 100% with that video. All I really could use is a backup cam (convenient but not needed) and bluetooth. My dad always buys cheap $3k-4k cars and lasts him several years before getting another one.

I'm about to adopt the same strategy:yeshrug:Looking to buying my first car and instead of immediately going into dept and financing one, he prefers I get something around $1k-2k and have it last a year or 2.

Mid-Late 2000s Civic,
Mid 2000s Impreza,
Late 2000s Lancer(gonna be damn near impossible unless I luck out)
or my dream car early to mid 2000s Lexus IS :whoo:

Baffles me that Scion was swept away because it had the goal of keeping cars $20k and less with this very way of thinking. The most advanced bit was the radio, and that was simple after-market shyt.

You really don't need anything else.

Before I watch the video it's based on the electronics I guarantee. That's why Japanese cars kill every other manufacture with reliability.

The car market right now is completely fukked. They are pushing out cars too fast with people throwing 15-25% of their income into a vehicle.

Love love cars but the minute it becomes a financial burden to take care of, you need to understand that car is not meant for you.

Scion was the right brand at the wrong time. If that makes sense. They got rocked like everybody else by the recession and auto industry crisis of 08. If Scion was founded in 2012 post recession, they'd be doing alright right now.:yeshrug:
