This is the downside to social media and the other platforms that struggling artists utilize to be heard

Yeah it gets their content to ears and eyes that they could have never reached 20 years ago

But it also puts them in the crosshairs of established artists that know they can steal their ideas and use them as their own

Yeah, my Dad caught that Kanye & 50 one. The funny thing is, he wasn't even trying to point that out. He was just saying (at the time) that "everything sounds alike" and as he was switching back n forth between the Stations on the Radio those Two songs happened to be playing lol.

But you just threw me off with "Give It To Me" and "Thriller". Never caught that before either. Never even thought about linking the two together lol. As far as writers go, if it aint Hip Hop then it doesn't really matter. There's levels to this Music Life but at the end of the day an artist is an artist. Rap just happens to be a little different becuz of Rules that were delegated in the Early-Early Late 80's 90's. An R&B Singer with a Team of Writers & Producers is almost expected. It's almost like a novelty finding a Singer that Writes or Produces their own music. Ain't too many Babyfaces' or Brian McKnight floatin' around like that
