But a black person in the same environment, working at Facebook; still has uncles, parents, child-hood friends, maybe even that black person themselves is from the hood.


We have very few jack and jill types who are entirely removed from the bottom class.

We need to recognize that and work on removing ourselves from our connection to poverty and people who don't mind staying there. We can not build with these people. That's the cold hard truth.
