For that to happen you'd literally have to brainwash people, have mass genocide committed on us or just have us enslaved again so we can get on the same page. Other than that there's no peaceful or logical way for millions of people to change their mindsets. It's impossible in this lifetime.
Exactly, its gonna be a loooong, slow process that none of us are gonna be alive to witness. "Change" is gonna have to happen over multiple generations unless, like you say, something drastic happens to open all of our eyes simultaneously.
I do think that all of these recent events the past few years (starting with the Trayvon incident) is slowly waking us up as a people. Blacks starting to transfer funds into black owned banks is a positive sign. That's something we BEEN should have been doing. We wasn't doing it because we were sleep.
We need a major increase in our racial pride and self-esteem also. Not enough black people WANT to see blacks as a whole progress. Not enough black people view their fellow black man and woman as their brother & sister. Its sad to say, but we simply don't love ourselves enough.
Maybe all of these recent police shootings will end up being a blessing in disguise by being the spark that causes us to unify and love each other more.
