Nah, demand everything that's deserved and don't hold back. If you need 10 million don't ask for 6 and get negotiated down to 3.
Reading through the platform what's striking is that they didn't hold back. It's at least a start to an organized black political message. It just needs some weight behind it. If we were a unified voting block we could withhold our votes unless the Democrats were willing to negotiate.
I highly doubt cacs will ever be willing to come to terms with most of this especially reparations. We'd really have to be disciplined on a large scale to get something. We have to fight for these things not giving up saying it's never going to happen.

Look at how many people in this thread have even acknowledged they asked for anything other than reparations. This is a place where you would think people would be interested in discussing the entire platform but this thread is only talking about reparations and the thread title lists damn near the only 2 things in the entire platform that have no chance of getting done. Unfortunately reparations is a non-starter and a quite inflammatory topic in this country. People are going to see that and immediately throw out everything else even though the overwhelming majority of the platforms are more than reasonable for anyone.
Also i dont think your negotiation analogy is accurate here. Sure if you need 10 million dollars you dont sell yourself short right off the bat and ask for less money, but if what you truly need is money dont also ask for a G6, Rolls Royce, 8K square foot mansion, 3 maids, your own island, etc....because then someone is gonna find something there that they can get everyone else to agree isnt gonna happen and then throw the money out right along with everything else.
Find the obtainable goals and focus on them, get everyone out there giving the same laser targeted message and demands and then people will have to discuss those specific points. They wont be able to immediately deflect to reparations.

Going to the U.N. won't accomplish shyt, it's run by white supremacy also.
I like that BLM finally trying to focus, but like most black empowerment groups, they're off base. As others have said, you can't make demands from a powerless position. You can't beg someone to stop beating your ass with success.
None of the black power movements are giving you the way out for us as I am. I guess I'm going have to take it to a larger platform.
Firstly, the only real way to get your dignity back once you've been raped by someone is to rape them back and kill them! You can't BUY your dignity back by paying them not to fukk you anymore (economics). They will never respect you, just extort you with the

So no one is willing to say this but the only thing that will get blacks out this funk is to go to war with cacs and rape them the same way they did us. That's if we really want to get grown. Can it and will it happen...not that I see...
The other more obtainable route is to build our own empire to enable us to COMPETE with white supremacy. And no you can't achieve this by "getting our economics together and buying black". Doing that would simply make us the cac in prison who pays to ensure he only has one husband.
First thing we do is declare our nation. Know what our goal is, to compete with white supremacy on even ground.
Second, we find out what blacks are down for the cause so we can give the c00ns and deadweight the boot.
Third, we for a Nation with an established African country who wants this cheat code. The cheat code is having say...10 million blacks already in America with access to capital and a customer base. They offer us dual citizenship. Through us they will be able to syphon wealth from America to build up their (our) Nation in Africa.
Use the money and knowledge of trades, etc., to build the infrastructure in this African Nation. We build roads, schools, hospitals, military, etc. Especially military and defense. Build an airline dedicated to flights for us citizens.
Over here we take fukkING CONTROL of the economy we already have, just don't own. The entertainment and sporting arenas! Multi billion dollar industries, powered by blacks and we own none of it!
Having formed our Nation we now make it mandatory that all our athletes, rappers, comedians, etc., work for our totally black owned company FIRST. Black athletes in the Super Bowl...pay us. Black music in commercials...pay us. Televised sport events...pay us.
Our body is our resource same as in slavery. Gotta make them cacs pay us. Want our creativity...pay us. The hard part will be getting the athletes and artists on board because massa will offer them buttered biscuits to stay a slave.
Part of this tax we place on cac America will go into building up our Israel.
In Africa our brehs and brehettes will get us access to them resources so we can sell and innovate them here. All going back to make our country rich.
