So brehs....

I'm not on here a whole lot, but when i get on, i always see a lot of brehs (and some cacs pretending to be brehs) listing reasons why they have no money and how it's "impossible" to change that.

In fact i see this on many sites, not just the Coli.

So this thread is about brothers who came up (or are trying to come up), brehs who are about executing plans and solutions, not the ones who come in every thread and website proclaiming to be helpless :mjpls:

This is the motivational thread, not the "i'm powerless and hopeless and i give up on life, because i am a black man" thread. Keep that shyt out of here. But you can post quotes, books, clips or personal stories/advice that you feel may be useful or inspirational for us as black men. I know the cacs will be in here as well but i'll ignore them as usual.

There are people who will pay for literally anything. Way too much money out here to pass up. I have a friend that goes to estate sales and flips old literature and antiques. Another friend gets paid to go in peoples home and swap all their cleaning products with all natural alternatives. Be creative and diligent. Save and invest in something you believe.

I'll say this..... 2018, theres never been a better time to gain financial freedom.

financial freedom doesnt mean millions and billions.... I mean, being able to do what you want.... when you want... how you want...... making money.... legally.... without answering to anybody.

its never been easier to become an entrepreneur and put a product for sale.... the market is worldwide and the distribution is damn near free... (social media)

brehs starting companies.... investing in crypto... making 5-6 figure gains.... doing all types of shyt.... its a beautiful time..... I know alot of brehs who are winning... its inspiring

sometimes, I feel its too good to be true...... the ancestors woulda killed for shyt like this...... sometimes I cant even believe how blessed I am. I didn't even finish school my nikka.


I wish every breh was equally inspired and seen whats in front of us

if you can convince 5 people to buy something, you can convince 50.

if you can convince 50, you can convince 500.

I think the reason a lot of brehs have trouble getting in this mindset is because of who they associate with too. "You are going to be like the 5 people you are around the most"

If you're friends with dudes who are complacent and make excuses, then there's a good chance that you will be the same way. But if everyone around you has a go-getter mentality, then they'll already understand how you think and why you do what you do. They're the same way.

Same thing with what you read and listen to. Back when i first started, I deleted a lot of rappers and shyt from my twitter timeline and added more entrepreneurs and investors. And swapped out some of the dumb shows for Shark Tank and shyt like that. Daymond John's was one of the best ones IMO

Once i started thinking outside of the box and also getting rid of that fear is when i started making more money. I once made about $40k in 4 months doing some internet marketing shyt back in 2015...and my degree is not even related to that, i didn't even have any experience, but i just did some research and sort of tried it out until i managed to turn it into some income.

It's really about using a skill and using it to make your own money, and also investing.

Do not just lay down and give up. Don't listen to all these nikkas saying that you can't learn something new and turn it into a source of income. A lot of cats have just given up and they want you to do it too.

Regarding real estate. My Pop used to do real estate law on the side. One of his clients was this dude who flipped homes in the black areas of Chicago. He had no college education (i'm not saying don't get one, i'm just saying it can be done period), he was making more than some oldheads were, he was in his 20s too.

For me, i used some racks i saved to put a down payment on a condo. Turned it into a rental property and created a passive-income stream (this also builds your portfolio on someone elses dime:banderas:
There's more than one way to skin a cat. I'm not saying the 9 to 5, punching the clock way is the "wrong" way, just that it's NOT THE ONLY WAY. There's more than one way to get it. Whenever you try to explain this to other black ppl, most don't want to hear it, but maybe this year there will be a shift.

The reason i don't like to waste time listening to or making excuses is because i have seen a lot of brehs squander money by choice. A dude i went to school with, got in a car accident, got a decent settlement but instead of trying to cop some real estate or start a small business, he spent it on a car, when he already had cars, and the one he bought took most of his settlement money. So he's still working some job he hates and basically blew the money.
