I'm honestly not surprised by the party throwing everything they have to prop up Biden. Democrats are TERRIBLE when it comes to getting on code. They care more about hanging onto money and white privilege than anything else and they are masters of deception. They can act like they give a shyt about us and proceed to do nothing. Never forget all the shyt that Obama said and tried to do but never accomplished for us.

When you have a candidate from within that party talking about "I'm going to break up these companies and millionaires have been getting away with whatever they want for too long" do you really think a party full of millionaires getting "donations" from big pharma, oil, finance, and tech would actually back him up?

So this is what will happen:

Biden will win the nomination. He will then go on to debate trump. We will then watch two old men sun downing in real time. Most voters will stay home again, and trump will win. Ruth Ginsburg will retire or die. He will appoint another federalist society approved conservative judge. The court will now lean conservative.

Voting rights act
Roe v wade
The 22nd amendment
The 13th amendment

All of them will be up for debate. Trump will give more lifetime appointments for federal courts. He will then pass through as much legislation as he wants with little to no pushback. Stop and frisk will be federal. There will be a national emergency(fabricated or otherwise). Trump will insist on remaining president and the 22nd amendment will be struck down allowing him to remain president as long as he feels like it.

If I'm wrong and biden or sanders wins, someone bump this thread, tag me, and I'll dap up the whole thread and rep whoever quotes me.

Peer pressure*

I'm really interested to see what policies Biden supports or proposes that are better than what sanders offered that got black people to the polls.

i haven't seen much talk about bidens policies, just talk of his electability and being moderate. he'll maintain the status-quo:francis:

like you said he tried but when faced with a majority republican senate and house of representatives who who thwarted his attempts at a historically unprecedented level, he should have changed tactics.

And that right there is the power of branding. This man will do nothing for us, but because they remember him as part of the obama era, which again wasnt really that great for us factually, theyll vote for him. Hes recognizable vs Bernie who isnt known as much.

Everyone who has ever lived in the south knows pier pressure is on 5 million down there. It's why every dating profile has "Jesus is my life" even though they hoes and not religious at all. You better toe the fukking line in the south. Same hair cuts. Same sports teams. Same church or you get the fukk out. That is the south. It is monolithic and parents push their kids to do stuff in the south harder than any other location.

And that right there is the power of branding. This man will do nothing for us, but because they remember him as part of the obama era, which again wasnt really that great for us factually, theyll vote for him. Hes recognizable vs Bernie who isnt known as much.

And after 50+ years the black community has NOTHING to show for it

What are you talking about:stopitslime: They have the satisfaction of sticking it to the Bernie bros, what accomplishment could be greater than that:troll:

You saw how given the choice between healthcare, free college, better wages etc Vs sticking it to the Bernie bros, the black community went with the latter:snoop:

Let’s just ignore all the cacs who voted for Biden. :francis:
Confronting decisions inside doesn't mean you're ignoring decisions made outside, nor does it require you to confront outside decisions. Black people need to take a look at wtf they're doing (and I say they because I am not Pro-Biden) before we start questioning the motives of other people. I know why whites voted for Biden... And I suspect we voted for him because we knew why whites would vote for him too (on top of his familiarity with blacks). That's not enough anymore

Democratic Establishment want to lose. If Trump wins they prosper, if Biden wins they prosper. If Bernie wins, things get scary for them.

Biden is mentally far too slow to contend with Trump. He isn’t as witty as Trump. His rhetoric is nonexistent, his oratory skills aren’t up to snuff either.

Biden represents the Status Quo. Nothing will change with Biden. Black Wealth will reach 0. The war on drugs will continue. School to prison pipeline will continue. Prison industrial complex will prosper.

And when Trump wins, the Supreme Court is lost for a generation.

At least with Bernie and Warren things would improve for black people to a degree, Black people being in a better position (wealth, education, ownership, etc) in order to leverage and lobby for more change should be the goal. But holy fukk most people lack the ability or will to think beyond the now.

If not Bernie, out of all of the candidates Warren actually has a plan for Black People. Her advertising must have been shyt. That is the one thing I didn’t like about Bernie, his focus on class reductionism. It’s fukking stupid.

That or Low information voters is real, fukking boomers.

Black People are fukked. Permanent underclass.

Tell me I’m wrong. Someone please.

The black vote has never meant anything, huh?

:mjpls:

Soon it won’t. Hispanic immigration could have been stymied by increased black wealth and influence in order to lobby for change.

Leverage is what should have been the goal.

Reparations will not happen if black people have no leverage or power.

Even withholding the vote is a temporary thing, they only need the Black vote until the Hispanic vote makes it less relevant. Black people are lucky Hispanic votes mostly conservative, Democrats are still forced to depend on that vote for now.

Biden or Trump ensures Black people will be a permanent underclass. Bernie gives Black People a lifeline, Warren ostensibly gives Black People the best chance.

Proceeds to vote monolithically for decades.

Let's be honest, Bernie probably would have done better to completely ignore the black vote.

It is a monolith and has been forever. Joe has proven over and over that he bald face lies to the black community to get their vote but Clyborn says jump and the entire black community jumps. Also, black parents are notorious for forcing their kids in the south to vote their way.

I see the pier pressure all the time on a daily basis in the south.

All the work Bernie did in the south added to nothing. They chose who they were told to chose. Those percentages are ridiculous.

This is why you focus on your business and create generational wealth for your family and just try to reach out when you can:manny:

Haven't heard a single pro-black argument that supercedes this as a reason to vote Biden/Bloomberg
