Monolith or not, Bernie didn't do the things he needed to do to capture that vote. Had 4 years to fix it and still didn't get it right. :yeshrug:

Bernie deserves some of the blame. You want to win? Do the things that are needed. That's politics breh. Don't shoot the messenger. :yeshrug:

Proceeds to vote monolithically for decades.

Let's be honest, Bernie probably would have done better to completely ignore the black vote.

It is a monolith and has been forever. Joe has proven over and over that he bald face lies to the black community to get their vote but Clyborn says jump and the entire black community jumps. Also, black parents are notorious for forcing their kids in the south to vote their way.

I see the pier pressure all the time on a daily basis in the south.

All the work Bernie did in the south added to nothing. They chose who they were told to chose. Those percentages are ridiculous.
When did Joe lie to the black community?

You BIG MAD :umad:

Next time don’t be condescending towards black voters when they’ve been the backbone of the Democratic Party for decades.
When was Bernie condescending to black voters?

Democratic Establishment want to lose. If Trump wins they prosper, if Biden wins they prosper. If Bernie wins, things get scary for them.

Biden is mentally far too slow to contend with Trump. He isn’t as witty as Trump. His rhetoric is nonexistent, his oratory skills aren’t up to snuff either.

.
Biden will stop and say, "no, wait a minute and i mean this" when no one has interrupted him or even started to clap. You can see the hamster spinning in his head trying to think of what to say next. His Town Hall on CNN last week was embarrassing.

"My son, bo..when he was on his deathbed. He said, 'dad....dad'..this is what he said. No i mean this. He said, 'dad' *hamster's spinning*....ahhh, I'm sorry to get into this, but he said, 'dad, promise me. Promise me this. This one thing. Just promise me', he said. He said, "promise me that you'll always...no matter what....you'll always...always....stay engage"

Breh took 15 minutes for that bullshyt. I don't trust a word he says.

Bernie Bros big mad.
:mjlol:
Why didn't your guy make the case and earn our vote? Plus, stop talking stupid about the South. Don't nobody be telling anybody how to vote down here, get Bernie's dikk out of your mouth own up to the fact is that your guy simply failed to make an argument on why he deserved our votes or how he was gonna pass all that pie-in-the-sky bullshyt in a Senate that requires 60 votes. Maybe black folk took a look at a nikka that's been in politics for 40 fukking years and literally has named post offices as his major legislative achievements. Maybe they saw that for all his performative woke bullshyt, they just saw a guy who only came around when it was time to vote. Maybe they took a look at his policies, took a look at their cac neighbors and decided that running a guy who wants open borders, an end to deportations, and free healthcare for illegals as the fastest way to a George McGovern style ass kicking. That can't be it though, clearly its because nikkas are brainwashed and need Zaddy Bernie to save us. Who said it first? That some "pro-black" nikkas got more contempt for regular black folks than crackas. Ya hate to see it.

Super tuesday taught me 2 things total but 1 specific thing about Black Voters:

1. The average voter is emotionally driven, Black folks especially.....and that makes us suckers for empty gestures.

i legit heard people slamming Bernie for not appearing in Selma, as if thats the end all be all. Or slam him for not having an explicit reparations stance (which is never happening and even IF it did, does very little to correct the economic balance/influence in this country) while in reality he does have an explicit plan to uplift the working poor of this country, of which Black folks are overwhelmingly apart of. Biden himself is one big empty gesture. A career centrist who had the luck of standing next to the First Black President (who while seemingly a good man, was also, an empty gesture). And that proximity to Barack is carrying him.

It's funny, people slammed Hilary for dancing and bringing hot sauce, yet the analysts will point out that Bidens ability to resonate with Black folks (especially Clyburn) turned the tide.

When the average black voters puts so much emphasis on "how you appear to Black folks", dont be surprised when politician cacs are completely off base while pandering in a attempt to put a finger on the pulse of Black culture.

Start talking about how awful Trump is

When you criticize any of the Dems, you are saying that Trump is preferable?

If no, the rest is not useful

2. No shade thrown to @Ghost Utmost but this post right here reframes what this election has always been about to the average Dem...Getting Trump out. Nothing more or less. It all goes back to him.

Online echo chambers would have you believe (and im guilty of this) that 2016 was a referendum on centrism...that people were ready to finally try and reposition this country more to the left. And that simply isnt the truth. People arent ready. Socialism is still a scary word to them. The Centrist Dems are still the "good guys" to most Dem Voters.

IF Biden wins in November, he and the DNC will have a decade plus off goodwill from voters for "ridding us of Trump"....and they will probably use that decade to continue sucking the cock of corporations/billionaires, fukking over the average person and every now and then throw us a bone (probably via some soft shoe immigration reform).

And part of me thinks...thats been the plan the entire time.

Im dead serious when i say, I dont know anything more of substance Bernie couldve done.

because if "not going to selma", or "he didnt mention reparations" is why he didnt appeal to Black voters, then we have bigger problems.

He's anti-Black American AF --- in addition to disrespectful AF.

I want him to keep talking though -- cause it's going to catch up to him personally and professionally.

yeah yeah you guys are little kids. This is the Coli. You either want this to be an office space or a place black people speak their minds. You can't have it both ways. Atleast I don't hide behind fake aliases. I lived in the south for years. Place is conservative as fukk and extremely monolith.

he did everything he possibly could. The problem is Clyburn started "seeing my wife in my dreams telling me to" support joe publicly.

Want to make every old black person do something. Say Jesus or a spirit sent by Jesus explicitly told you to do something and shed a tear.

I am not discounting his speech, but I am going to point out that both Clyburn and Joe had "after life experiences" just before super Tuesday

Yeah. But not the way you're thinking. If whites and hispanics got reparations, then why didn't black folk?
