While he's still headlining events, Randy Orton has not been a big factor in WWE in recent weeks and this has him unhappy. As a result, he recently asked management about taking some time away from the ring by the end of the year in order to rejuvenate.

WWE considers their roster "thin," especially in regards to the number of top-flight wrestlers they have available. It is said that the absences of Daniel Bryan and Batista is standing in the way of Orton being granted some time off.

To pacify him, Orton has been told that his character will be emphasized more on television. This probably won't satisfy him though

I dont think he's a big enough star to just take time off...his character does need some rejuvenation though. a good 6 months could work for him. bring him back in a high profile program, preferably setting someone up behind the scenes or something like that.

he's definitely been a constant in the WWE since ive been watching again(since 09)..so i wouldnt mind seeing him take some time off..along with Cena.

well this is clearly dirtsheet trash since in what, a 12 year period he has had no problem sitting in the background and doing jobs in between megapushes and he JUST had the title and works every raw and PPV and gets paid.

He just had the title and main evented tons of ppvs in the last year; he isn't upset about shyt. They call em dirtsheets for a reason.

I don't think he's upset about anything, but I could see where he would like some time off. He hasn't had any extended time off since like June 2012, he's a workhorse. They could give him a month off to rest, have him come back with a better character/story-line, and he'd be fresh for Mania season

Giving these dudes two months off every year on a staggered schedule would be good for everybody. Less burnout for wrestlers and fans, better health for wrestlers, and rejuvenated wrestlers ready for huge pops and big pushes when they return.

Should be common sense amongst brass by now

Idaho.
Time off would be good for Randy tbh. Then he comes back vicious. Really vicious. Not like that time that they teased him viciously kicking Roman's ass one night and then went back to being lame the week after.

Right? Before the heel turn he spent over a year in midcard matches popping crowds.

Regardless, the guy's working his ass off just to spin his wheels and tumble down the card. He could do with some time off and a change of alignment whether he really wants to or not.

He could really use some time off, regardless of how fake the report may be. Most people don't give much of a shyt about Orton because we've seen him in every possible situation/position in the last 4-5 years.

Let fans miss him.

:ohhh: I wonder if Orton is having neck issue now. Legit, Orton needs a break because he deserves it, its not his fault that WWE has no reserve stars. Not to mention they have been treating him badly, and making him Reign's bait, give him rest :stopitslime:
