Reflection Eternal was amazing. That was just about the only NY record (outside of G-unit) that I continued to bump during my Mike Jones phase. This song reminds me of when I first feel in love with the genre. That was before I would go on to be disappointed by many Kweli records but I digress.

anyways. The whole "Train of Thought" album is classic. Time flies man...I can't believe that was pretty much 14 years ago...
The crazy thing is I remember buying this album back then down to what I was wearing and everything. You're right though time fukkin flies it doesnt even seem that long ago.

Not long after this song came out, I was in class doin' a group project with one of my dudes
and we were talmbat what songs we was fuccin' wit'. He didn't know the name of the song
(these were the days we used to listen to the radio, nobody ever knew the real names of songs lol),
so he said "the one that goes..." and he starts beat boxin' the beat.
So after he does that I know he's talmbat "The Blast", so I go "keep on daaancin', gotta keep on daaancin'..."
and right on cue, my dude and like half the class goes "WHOOOOA OHHHH OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
The teacher and the other half of class was like "WTF"?
It was so hip-hop, you had to be there.
