I may have told you this. I've told this story on here before. But Kanye signed my copy of Blueprint in 2002. He pulled out the booklet, opened the liner notes, and then circled every song that he produced and signed KW beside each one. Not only that, but since the Girls Remix wasn't listed in the booklet, he wrote out Girls Girls Girls Remix by hand and also initialed KW beside it.



And since you mentioned Alc, he said Jay-Z came up to him at a party around the time Blueprint dropped, and Al had been doing a lot of beats for Nas and Mobb Deep. Jay came up to Al and told him "you're playing for the wrong team man"


I always thought these Al beats would've been dope on Blueprint. All from the same time.

None of these beats woulda been good enough to be on Blueprint

I remember I copped Fabolous' Ghetto Fabolous and my older brother copped Jay-Z's The Blueprint when he was a Jay-Z stan at that time when I was a Nas stan. My brother was like "He talks shyt on your boy, Nas" had me

I remember I braggin about that Fabolous has 3 more bonus songs while I was at my brother and my brother was like "Jay-Z has more songs too". I thought my brother was lying when to come to found out that he has hidden songs after Momma Loves Me song.

First time I listened online when it leaked online the week before it’s release I called it 5 MIC’s. I was like OH shyt when it actually got 5 Mic’s in The Source. Remarkable album & even tho I was already blown away by the time I got to Renegade, when I heard that track I was Buggin out. Definitely a top 5 album all-time for me.
