I remember it leaking on SOHH. Think it was end of August 2001 leak...classic & loved the vibe immediately. Made sure to get the album for real later on possibly through I think BMG music service.
I joined SOHH in 2001 cause I was googling Jay vs Nas beef and the forum popped up in the results, ha.
I remember going to the record store on 9/11 to get this album. I musta ran Ruler's Back about 20 times before getting to Takeover. Then I remember getting stuck on Girls and playing that about 30 times. Then I got stuck on U Don't Know. Then going back between U Don't Know and Hola Hovito.
After all that, All I Need and Lyrical Exercise ended up being my favorite records
