The promoting game I'm familiar with you get paid per girl you get in for free, like ten to twenty five bucks, so at $200 you're not turning a profit directly on the women
Does having these paid for birds improve the turnout from men and/or get them to spend more?
Have you compared nights where you just worked your rolodex and got 'civilian' hoes thru the club at no cost to yourself vs nights where you paid these insta thots?

back in 2013-2014 when instagram was really buzzing I would pay a few "ig models" $500 and our venue paid some "ig model djs" $1000, didnt seem to ever make up the difference. Personally I just rather pay $100-200 for semi "ig famous" girls, 5-8 of them a night, to bring 7-10 girls each (realistic numbers) and then that starts my night with 50-80 beautiful girls, most the girls friends will post to support them (cause they know they getting comped everything as well) so its enough advertising to usually get a few extra tables sold and a packed house out of it
personally have paid any host rather female or male $500+ in years though, unless they were booking tables and commission got them that far. (I pay some hosts 10% table sales on top of their flat rates cause theyll book a raider, warrior or 49er and theyll spend $1-2+k and request the table next to the host to stunt, and it makes the party look good especially in videos/pictures

I could tell someone ill give you $10 per girl you bring + 10% table booked, my tables start at $900 minimum for my parties on Saturday and thats in the back
, most hosts would rather take $100-150... if they was hustlers, theyd take the commission deal, bring 20 girls and book 1 table and be at $300+
but most people aint about that hustle mentality. 20 girls and 1 table aint shyt really.. any promoter/host who does this on a frequent basis should know at least 20 girls that party every weekend.. shyt thats like 1-2 birthdays booked.. very easy to do..

I think that's where I'm coming out differently the guys I know in the game in NYC, it's more like the hustler subcontract you described. They are filling three tables with girls max and then just circling between four clubs in a night to get the door cover at each one.
If someone wants to buy a table from them they do it and then leave his ass out there with no birds when it's time for the promoter to go to the next stop
