As for Drake stan/anti-stan wars (which I admittedly participate in) if you just peep regular message board activity he's uber popular and in the news cycle. It can be that simple really, it's not like you see this many threads about him out the blue during down time. It's july 74th my nikka
But on a deeper note, the conversation around Drake, at least to me is much more interesting than whether people straight up hate or love him. What's going on with him and this ghostwriting shyt...regardless of which side of the argument you fall on is kinda unprecedented for an artist of his caliber so it's a discussion worth having, independently of the fandom in regards to what people think/feel and what kind of precedent it sets.
Like what happens when they give somebody like Post Malone the "Drake" treatment? It's a whole host of other shyt surrounding Drake that has less to do with him as an individual or trying to troll his fans that are important to talk about, IMO.
