Seriously though. If Ime was fukking this subordinate, and the husband found out and the Celtics have handled it like this...I will begin to assume that this was deliberate to drag some other story out of the spotlight.

If Phil Jackson got suspended for a year while he was coaching the Lakers because of a workplace scandal that shyt would’ve been the biggest news in sports and dominated the headlines just like this, if not more.
If Ime never got punished by the team and was not having affair on his celebrity fiancé, this story would’ve never became as big as it has.
I brought up the Celtics stature as a contributing factor in to why this story blew up, because they’re a marquee franchise that is very popular with a lot of fans and haters.

Ime fukked up period with his actions and deserve some of the consequences for his behavior. At the same time, Boston has handle this issue poorly and should had their ducks in a row before taking action. They just could have said that Ime is stepping away to take care of a personal matter while continue to work on this issue internally. If this situation is bad as some people are speculating, he cannot come back to the organization and his career maybe over.

Celtics owner said investigation was started in July and the result was the suspension. The only thing Celtics announced was multiple violations of team rules.
Training camp starts this week and the season less than a month, there’s literally nothing they could do to avoid the discourse. My GUESS is suspension instead of firing is due to contractual language and a settlement is coming
