We ain't out here throwing darts at a picture of Money May, just having a laugh. Floyd is one of the most critical people towards his opponents and people around him with similar lifestyles so what does that make him? The idea that you can be a millionaire and have access to almost anything you wan't but being illiterate will greatly reduce your experiences and how you see the world. Plus its just funny as fukk. I don't get these insisting we have to be a cac, considering every brother I know cracks on each other for almost everything. If one of my boys knew I couldn't read, bruh I would be roasted on site

It makes him a great fight promoter. Do you understand EVERY great boxer since Ali has done this?

Do you believe everything you see on TV? You believe the Floyd you see on TV for 20mins or so is automatically the real him?

it's not just hater shyt, it's kinda immature, i think. even when i was in high school, there were a few kids who obviously couldnt read as well as others and when the teacher called on them to read out loud you knew what was coming. i didnt laugh at that shyt when i was a kid, and i dont laugh at the shyt now.

there a million things i find funny in life...people struggling to read isn't one of them:manny:
I didn't laugh at dudes in school but wonder how these cats were failed by their parents, system, etc. I also was like these cats should be embarrassed to sound like this when usually they can talk regular. That non reading shyt was annoying though I won't front on that and wish the teacher wouldn't picked them dudes cause that shyt was painful to listen to.

Frank has a diagnosed problem, so I wouldn't have laughed. I expect if floyd was documented with being dyslexic then most people wouldn't have laughed. But this is the coli, yall nikkas laugh at the most inappropriate shyt anyway.
So this is where the moral line is drawn, huh?:sas2:
so you wouldnt laugh at a humble athlete with a reading problem, but would laugh at a cocky one.
i wouldn't laugh at either.

guess that's the difference between me and you:sas2:

the internet
Show me where did I say that or even imply that? I basically said most are doing so from a haters standpoint that's all. No victim stuff at all so again if you want to come at me about something (which I'm fine with) lets at least do it from a correct viewpoint not some made up stuff.

I don't keep up with floyd much outside the ring but I didn't know him and the breakfast club had beef. If so what you said makes sense otherwise that's bytch shyt. Maybe you have a bytch mentality on this issue though. I don't believe in no he makes fun of others (that aren't you) so you can clown him. Think of how that sounds. Would you clown some dude just because he clowned somebody that has no relation to you on some he does it to others so I can do it to him. If that's the case whites should be able to say anything blacks say and nothing should be done about it since we do it too. I seriously think you think like that but since it sounds good for your defense today that's what your rolling with.
putting way too much thought into this fam.
Just how I laughed when Floyd came out in a sombrero (imagine a Mexican fighter walking out in some "black" shyt)...ima laugh at this.

At the end of the day all of these folks are entertainers...and they are doing their job.

Ive been entertained today by 50, Charlamagne, and Floyd :jawalrus:

What's wrong with him saying that? And I'm being serious when I ask this.

His whole argument just seemed extremely selfish if you watch his interview. Anyone that hasn't helped him get where he is no, is undeserving of any help from him and this didn't just include Africa the way he explained it. That's an extremely dangerous and selfish mentality to have to me. If he had said, he wants to help people closer to home than cool, I get that. He's welcome to do what he wants with his money and I'm not one of those people who sees a man buying fancy things and get mad by any means. I really don't care what you do with your money, just don't promote that selfish attitude because we as a society would be fukked if everyone had that mentality. I just don't respect it, you're welcome to though.

I'm sorry, but I'm from miami with a notoriously bad public education system and I don't know anyone who can't read :heh: If there is a literacy problem in the black community(which I guess im unaware of), then we got bigger problems than what white people have to say about the community :snoop:
We need to be actively trying to fix the problem of illiteracy rather than caping for an ignorant boxer :manny:

The media loves to paint black people as illiterate thugs. While we know that stereotype to be untrue it has constant theme in mainstream media. For a black person to use that same narrative against a successful high-profile black person is disturbing. Floyd Mayweather is an ignorant woman beater............but he doesnt deserve for his dyslexia to become comic fodder for the Breakfast Club

Nah I'm not putting too much thought into nothing it was too easy to come up with my conclusion on this. I can type fast and told you straight up people can laugh at what they want to but in this situation most if not all are doing it from a haters perspective. You don't agree cool but doing to much just because I typed out something long that took a minute or two isn't over thinking nothing. Stop trying to minimize my stuff sir I didn't do that to yours I actually responded to things you said to make it a longer reply.

I didn't laugh at all since I'm a money may fan. But I find it ludicrous that if someone did laugh at it, their some type of 'coli scum' when nikkas on this site laugh at any fukking thing BUT NOW it's a problem :comeon:

I realize that, he always comes off extremely humble afterwards and that's cool to see but you still can't take on this persona 9 months of the year and say some of the things hes said to other men. Ali called George Foreman an uncle tom and it had real effects on the man, I lost a great deal of respect for him and a lot of other people as well. shyt has real life consequences. Again, one of my favorite fighters and I have followed his career for a long time now, but outside of the ring I don't have a lot of respect for the man.

I still cheer for him every fight and he is probably my favorite fighter but if you ask me to separate the man from the athlete, Im going to be honest.

You are talking about stereotypes and main stream media and narratives, but the most disturbing thing in my opinion is that a dude worth hundreds of millions can barely read at a 5th grade level. If you think it's disturbing that black people are insulting another black person, you are an extremely sensitive person
