I missed the race aspect of this. One dude calls out another for not being able to read and a guy has audio of it.

Disrespectful? Absolutely.

Racial? Ummm.....it's all people of the same color involved with zero input from anyone outside that race.

Failing to see the connection.

its probably racism to hint that this is a race issue...because what are people implying when they say its a race issue? they are implying that African Americans can't read and implying its some sort of a black person trait to be illiterate

Black men making fun of a Black man with difficulties reading, Black men also painfully oblivious to this same behavior throughout history so they don't see the relationship to racism/white supremacy..

why am I not surprised..

there's a lot you can say about Floyd, but making fun of his inability to read fluently is low, lazy and anti-Black.
Your too obessed with what people think about us. We're you saying this when Floyd was disrespecting Africa and ridiculing the struggle they encounter on a daily basis? I highly doubt it.

All these faux miltants in here. :stopitslime:
Hell- as far as I'm concerned, we should make fun of ANY brother that is illiterate:manny:.

Let alone a multi-millionaire.

When one of the richest members of our culture is struggling to even comprehend a Dr. Seuss novel. Yea he is rich now- but he is probably missing plenty of $$ possibilities by not being able to read.

you talk about making fun of a black person who can't read instead of helping them...then proceed to talk about the struggles of black culture:dead:

this is sad and the saddest part is the "but he's a multimillionaire" people defending him for not being literate. he has every resource in the world to get help and he doesn't. who cares how much money he has if he can't do basic functions like read. money isn't everything and that's the problem why kids can't read now days "he's good at sports he doesn't need to learn to read, he'll be rich" complete bullshyt that people are defending him

I listened to that drop thinking he couldn't read...but he read the words and comes off more dyslexic more than unable to read.

Charmalagne comes off as a dude whose quick to run behind po po and talks shyt knowing that.

He is a grown man in his late 30s with every resource at the tip of his fingers. Ill go down to my local youth center to help the illiterate, what am I suppose to do walk into MGM grande and insist Floyd let me help him as he berates me with insults? The struggle of black culture is having people like Floyd being idolized while he continuously insults intellectualism.
