I wouldn't take any money out of GME to invest in AMC. it's a sidetrack, because GME will have the greater return since short sellers are over 100% in the red. they want people to dump GME and invest in AMC to lower the GME stock.

The common man has found out how to artificially inflate stocks like the brokers been doing.
It's not illegal per se, but average joe and jane weren't suppose to be able to play.
Now we are
You wait until it hits a certain $$$ and then you cash out and win.
Long term the company could go under, you could lose all your money, the government could put forth new regs and shut us out more etc.
A lot of things could change
the government can’t stop it.
pump and dump is illegal because buyers are being sold worthless shares under the guise that the company is on the verge of blowing up.
with this, the average buyer is basically doing the same thing. The only difference is there are no shareholders with a huge majority to cash out.
I did the same thing last year with Hertz.
And day traders will do this all the time, for minor gains.
Hertz is now a penny stock, so if enough people bought shares, you could do the same thing over and over again.
