- lose Brock who we hear good stuff about but never see play and he becomes a starter somewhere and uses all theknowledge Peyton and elway showed him and goes on to be good

Not saying Brock can't be good, but show me 1 instance where one of Manning's backups left his shadow to carve out a good NFL career as a starter. Jim Sorgi & Curtis Painter didn't look like Manning gave them much pointers on how to be a good, much less great NFL QB.

Not saying Brock can't be good, but it'll be on his own merits & talents solely. I've never seen evidence that Peyton is a good mentor to the younger QBs on his roster. Those Manning boys don't got time for backups who'll eventually nip at their heels, and they're not gonna contribute to their heels getting nipped, that's for certain.

The O-Line isn't good with Clady down and the QB can't throw anymore... but the rest of the team is a scary sight

Clady back next year, the rookie (Sambriailo or whatever) hopefully improves throughout the season... gets moved to RT... then our line is back to being solid again.

Solid line, young but improving Gawdweiler and a crazy nice D... our future is bright.

Saw some of Peyton finally and he looks just like Pennington did after his like 5th shoulder surgery...he cant throw anymore.

The irony is that Pennington came into the league on the same train as Peyton: brilliant football mind, leader, pefectionist, decent mobility, & good but not overpowering arms. Not to mention they both wore the same doofy, big facemask (What could have been had it not been for his glass rotator cuff :mjcry:)

Fast forward and one exited the league on the "worn down shoulder leading to minimal arm strength" train, and it looks like the other is leaving from the same exact platform :mjcry::mjcry:

It was a pretty brilliant strategy. Instead of chasing headlines (even if he is a GOP azzhole too), he worked with Belicheat to keep getting decent cheaper depth on the defensive and skill player side. Kept them from ever going through a post-SB win bust, when formerly cheap players were now premium free agents.

Brady's still the GOAT as winning means everything, and as great as Peyton was, he was always a shrinking violet when lights were brightest. It's why he's falling off so hard now...just used up too much time to do nothing in the postseason for too long.
that's the dumbest shyt I ever read

the difference is sorgi and painter was 7th round talents. brock was drafted in the 2nd round, and is being developed to take over the team one day

gotta love the "what have you done for me today?" mentality by some sports fans. shyt, some even have the "what have you done for me this hour?" mentality :pachaha:

40 year old Peyton Manning is still better than 90% of all other QB's.

:ohhh: How in the hell did we get in this bubble? We were talking about weapons. There IS NO DOUBT that Tom Brady is the GOAT. None. Peyton has had many chances with all kinds of teams. He failed.

Any rational person would tell you that Peyton has always had better weapons that Brady. Did it hurt the Colts D a bit? Yep, but Dungy was great at developing young, cheap players. Still....1 RING for Peyton.

Belicheat is the same...loves the cheap ones. Loves the cheap on both sides of the ball, except OLine. You can't compare those cheap White receivers Brady was always stuck with, to Peyton's place.

Brady is not the Goat bruh just stop
