I was born December of '98 so I'm happy that this is the best Knick team In my living memory but this whole series is sickening to watch.

Going back to 2000 if/when Indy win this series that'll be 4 straight playoff series wins against us smh
:francis:

2013 2nd Round is my first real sports heartbreak bcuz that was the end of Knickstape, the first team I remember having legit faith and high expectations of and led to nothing but years of terrible basketball afterwards. I'm ashamed to have stanned Iso Zo Trier and Dame Dotson at one point in my life.

But this is just disheartening nikkas just being outplayed. We can't go out on our home floor hopefully we can get this back to Indy.

That play where Deuce didn’t go up strong in the lane and turned it over on a pass killed the vibe big time.

Mikal passing up shots or hard layup attempts with contact on each side of the floor a couple times killed momentum.

That play where OG had Nembhard alone under the basket and didn’t take it up, got fouled and missed both FTs was big.

Mikal and Hart had rough games, and why wasn’t Deuce in for a bit down the stretch?

A lot of things needed to go right to win this second game on the road. Refs were objectively terrible, but we didn’t capitalize on a lot of opportunities. Bad turnovers, bad transition D, ball not rolling in for +1s…fukk.

I really thought Thibs was a changed man after game 3. How D-Wright get one minute in the second half and Hart with 6 turnovers get 37?
They got to fire Thibs. I haven’t said that shyt since Boston game 2 but come the fukk on.

Also fukk a game when I saw KAT hurt his knee I literally saw this teams chance at getting a ring flash before my eyes. He makes too much for him to get severely injured.
Serious question for all you people saying “blow it up”. Did ya really have expectations of winning a chip this first season together?

No need to blow it up, make minor changes. Thibs should be the first to go. Not the players.
Nah that was without the benefit of the knowledge deep playoff run. That is why deep runs are good for teams because they expose flaws in teams that have to fixed for them to be improved. KAT and Brunson don’t work together on a fundamental level. The best part of this series is when they don’t play together and Thibs just went stupid and tried it all second half and this was the easiest win the pacers had all series,. They also got to bring Kyle Lowry or somebody in here to help Brunson learn how to distribute and not call his own shot.

Lowkey I would argue keep KAT and move Brunson but no way the locker room survives that.

The Knicks two best players are traffic cones on defense. That is never winning a title.

This conference final run will be viewed like the 2007 Jazz, 2013 Grizzlies, 2019 Blazers. Random flukes by teams that were never really that close.

And now you know why you have him.

Not until I see what another coach can do with this roster first. It’s fire Thibs and bulster the bench.

The Knicks are spending too much on players who can’t consistently create their own shot. They can’t bolster their bench with the current starter salaries and Mikal Bridges in line for an extension.

I just don’t believe that KAT and Brunson don’t work. That’s way too much offensive fire power that we’ve never utilized the right way.
