Giannis was a homegrown talent. Middleton essentially was as well (drafted by Detroit) and Dame got traded there who have rather gone elsewhere if he had the choice.

I don’t like your two best players being functionally the same positions. I know it works for Boston but that’s because Tatum is more of a 3/4 hybrid so it gives them ways to be more flexible with the types of players they can surround them with. Cade needs a scoring 4 who he can also run pick and rolls with to maximize his game. Zion, Randle, Markannen, Bam, Sabonis. Go get one of those guys and flourish.

Miles Bridges? Little undersized to be a true 4 but he's thick (smh) and plays at the 4 a good amount of time. He's from MI too.

Ideally, it would be someone scoring more in the 23 - 25PPG range instead of 20, but Miles been consistent 20/7/3 and he's significantly less expensive atm.
