Moral victories

Tell ya mans learn to catch a pass
I'm from Detroit. We don't believe in moral victories. That's definitely a Knicks thing. Whole city still talking about the greatness of Starks and that dunk. Y'all can now add this Brunson shot to the scrap book of mediocrity y'all love to admire. (It was a great 1st Rd moment though:lolbron:). Building toward chips is what we do :manny: . I've seen this movie before. But I'll keep a beer cold for you. Then I'll leave you a whole six pack as you watch a real championship franchise show you what building to a chip look like. (Gores and Trajan, y'all nikkas better back up all this shyt I'm talking gotdammit:ufdup:)

I'm a ol piss in a nikka pool on the way out ass nikka. Let me stop and let y'all enjoy y'all moment. Y'all been good sports :salute: And @obarth and you other Giants nikkas that decided y'all want the smoke come football season, I ain't forgetting. It's up!

Crazy series with a lot of great games.

However, I just don't see how Thibs should still be coaching NBA team moving forward. Their whole strategy is play through Brunson. Same shyt he did with Derrick Rose. That strategy won't work against Boston who has both great offense and defense.

This will be the series where you'll see how crucial the depth of the bench is and Knicks don't have any of it + Thibs typical coaching of riding his starting five til the wheels fall off. Some surprise games might happen from Miles or Cam, but Boston has more weapons off the bench.

What's the Knicks winning strategy?

@RickyGQ ultimately relying off journeymen that failed in other places just to come to Detriot and fail wasn't good. And Cunningham not being ready and the Stewart injury.

We'll see what they do in the offseason

Detroit HAS to get out of the mentality that this is the "Detroit" way. fukk that. I'm tired of it. Stars agree to go play in MILWAUKEE WISCONSIN, and you can't get stars in Detroit? Make a splash, and get a REAL star next to cade for the next 6 years. All this hard work grit and grind shyt is for the birds in today's NBA.

That's not Detroit mentality at all if you talking bout now. Damn near to a caller, poster, or any other public forum, everybody is saying just wait til Cade get his co-star. And I don't think front office have that approach either. Well I can't speak on the tigers and Wings, but the Lions ain't been on that since Holmes/Campbell took over, and I guess we'll find out what Langdon is on.

I still don't think they have to rush to find another star before letting this squad cook some more. It all depends on what we'd have going out versus who's coming in. And you can have a second star and still have that grit. That shyt just means we got some dog ass nikkas that's that's gone do what they gotta do and not be no bytches. Detroit ain't never gonna get behind no straight up pretty boy shyt. Thats just never been us as a city. That Detroit vs Everybody, the slogan is new but the mentality definitely not:manny:

Just curious though, who would y'all want to see next to him ideally if some guys are available?

Ownership/front office and etc have to be willing to pay, but it's also a 2-sided street. Cats have to want to come here (and they should now with a cornerstone in Cade and the city building back up).

History shows Detroit usually showed out in the trade market to get the guys/stars they needed (Dantley, Aguirre, Sheed and etc in their respective years)

Either way the right cats in the front office have to be bout it.
