Defense. You’re never gonna get enough stopsI just don’t believe that KAT and Brunson don’t work. That’s way too much offensive fire power that we’ve never utilized the right way.

Are people saying they can't get their points or that they're defensive liabilities?I just don’t believe that KAT and Brunson don’t work. That’s way too much offensive fire power that we’ve never utilized the right way.
Yes they can.The Knicks are spending too much on players who can’t consistently create their own shot. They can’t bolster their bench with the current starter salaries and Mikal Bridges in line for an extension.
Pacers can’t get stops either.Defense. You’re never gonna get enough stops
Watching the Knicks in playoffs, do you think the KAT and Brunson offense is a potent one?Are people saying they can't get their points or that they're defensive liabilities?
I don't think any of the "blow it up" stuff is serious, but I feel the same way I felt entering the playoffs (which is stunning considering they beat Boston but that's what context is for) :Serious question for all you people saying “blow it up”. Did ya really have expectations of winning a chip this first season together?
No need to blow it up, make minor changes. Thibs should be the first to go. Not the players.
People are being emotional here because the East will be even easier next season. Knicks will easily be right back. With that being said, Knicks #1 priority should be a passing guard as a backup. Brunson would rather shoot than pass, I don't think a coaching change will fix that either because he did it under Steve Kerr too. A backup pg/backup big is needed. Maybe they can swing for KD and trade Mikal but I don't expect them to make any drastic changes like that.Serious question for all you people saying “blow it up”. If you run this back as is you're just hoping on a prayer and ignoring 100 games of data. You either thank Thibs for his service and Brad Stevens him while another coach gets a chance with this group (specifically to maximize the offense which is the only way to justify a Brunson/KAT team that's always gonna lack on the other end), or you tweak the roster for Thibs and the easiest way to do that is moving Bridges (Karl trades aren't unrealistic but very complicated, much more so than moving Mikal)
It's gotta be one or the other and I keep going back to that word ungrateful because there is a part of me that feels weird talking about Thibs like this after all he's done, but I'm not really interested in tweaking the roster for the stubborn 68yo coach.
No we got him because Ihart with to OKC, Mitch got hurt, and Randle asked for a max. A Lot went into getting him, they got to move him. I think his value might be better, he plays better. It’s just Brunson and him cannot coexist defensively. And now you know why you have him.
Idk how much worse a player can play and still not be taken out. Josh gave absolutely nothing tonight but bad defense and turnovers and is rewarded with playing essentially the whole 2nd half. One of thibs or hart has to go. This love affair needs to be broken up because it's not based on play or logic.
Was the issue tonight that we didnt score 131 or that we gave up 130?Watching the Knicks in playoffs, do you think the KAT and Brunson offense is a potent one?
