Hmmm...mostly black cast, black director/writer, Oprah got billions and all the actors are well established so I dont think they needed any cac backing/help to get the movie made. So yall just like to complain about every black movie that comes out? Or is everyone involved in the movie just c00ning

It;s all about distribution, name a prominent black owned distributor. We can get the shyt made, but who will send it to the theaters? Cacs don't like nothing that will empower ourselves or show us in a accurate and positive life.

If you want a film based on real black historical figures, and positive representation on blacks in general, then I suggest to not have to rely on cacs/jews for that. They will love to show the next Tyler Perry or Lee Daniels c00n/******fest, but NO educational or historical pieces of film making.

This is more evidence of what happens when you're in an industry where you're not in control.

If we really want our stories being told then I think that black Hollywood should invest in Nollywood. Look at what the Chinese are doing. You have Chinese-American actors going back to Hong Kong and investing in Hong Kong cinema, for them to tell their stories. Actors like Chow Yung Fat was frustrated with American Hollywood forcing him to stereotypical roles for Asian men.

The bulk of Butler is about the lead character's son who's so pro black and anti- cac he might as well post on thecoli. This movie is just the rehashed tale of Booker T vs Dubois; yall educated heads know what I'm talking about. Both sides have strong arguments. Its a "black" Forest Gump where the lead is privy to inside knowledge of what White leadership thinks of Negroes and how he attempts to protect his family according.

The fact that as a black man dude can't really explain why he doesn't like it without using the n word and how he was silent on Django reveals how he really feels. He's upset he didnt get cast in a film where every Black actor in hollywood got to eat I mean David Banner's is in it, I'd be mad too.

I mean really though, had you taken out "The Butler" out the article, I wouldve thought Harry was talking about Django. Django is about a Black man gaining freedom and repairing his family with the help of a the white man; around here that's a White liberal's wet dream. The final "villain" of Django is the fukking house c00n or at least that the person our titular hero decides to focus his vengeance on...a good hour of the film's dialogue is nothing but Leo da gawd saying blacks = violent stupid animals who are likely to go on a rapture if set fre- .... but "The Butler's the problem
