Welp, seasons over.. unless he pulls an Aldridge. Lance is either gonna have to step up big time and become the Lance from last years playoffs or they need to trade him and Al for Reggie Jackson and Lamb on some rental shyt for the rest of the season.. I wouldnt be opposed to pulling a Timberwolves by tanking and just putting everything in MKG's hands like they did Wiggins.. then he'll really develop

Im sure knowing our owner Kemba or no Kemba were gonna still attempt a playoff push especially since were finally the 8th seed for now. I expect a move to happen soon if Kembas done for the season.
I'd personally tank and spend the rest of the season on MKG, Cody, Vonleh, and Hairstons development tho

the whole team sucks when kemba isn't tony parker 2.0
we can't get the 6 seed. best case even with Kemba is the 7. 8 seed is a possibility but highly unlikely. it makes complete sense to tank bc even making the 8 really isn't worth it. better draft pick is more important than getting swept by Atlanta
having said all that, i hope we keep pushing for the 8 seed. it makes no sense from a bball sense but this franchise needs a playoff win and we need to keep riding the momentum from the hornets comeback to a playoff appearance.
after this complete reboot of the franchise, it would be an awful look to just tank. lose a lot of goodwill that the name change brought
this probably makes no sense to most around the league, but if you're from this city/grew up with the hornets, it makes 100% sense
