Biden has a long history being in the Senate. Since he's from Delaware, he's had a hand in propping up financial institutions and supporting legislation that has made it harder for middle and working class people.

His comments on busing, the Anita Hill saga, the crime bill... are all fair game.

With that said, if he's the nominee, of course you should vote for him over the orange idiot. But with this Dem primary, as a voter who sees our new Guilded Age, I'm looking for someone looking to do big shid and shake things up to improve our lives. The fact that Warren is running and has been on the right side of history regarding consumer protections in direct throw against Biden should scare the hell out of him.
It's truth you're speaking about his record but he was still chosen as a VP despite his record. And was influential among the Dems and popular among the voters, so why use his past against him now, rather than before...he shouldn't have made it this far if his past was unacceptable

It's like hiring an ex-con, knowing that you will use his past to justify no promotions, despite him deserving it. Shouldn't have hired him in the first place

You mean like the Obama voters that voted for Sanders but not Clinton...probably caused her the election :francis:
The vast majority of Bernie voters, voted for Clinton.

If voters stayed home, it's because they were okay with Trump winning. Not worth my time to deal with the irrational. :manny:

Well Biden isn't an ex-con, he's a powerful man who has been backed by powerful interests who have benefited off the backs of the middle and working class. That's just a fact. Biden's past tells me he isn't going to take on the powerful, at all. Last night he talked about a new corporate ethos... what does that mean? He also doesn't seem to want to structuraly change anything, it seems he's running to put us 'back to normal' which would be fine but then how do you deal with any of the big issues going on?

Sure, he'd be a better POTUS and he could win if he has learned anything from his failed runs in 1988 and 2008 where he got nowhere. But that's the thing, Obama's people were being driven mad by Biden in both 2008 and 2012 since he isn't a disciplined campaigner and he had policy views that Obama opposed. Bankruptcy being one of them back in 2008.
People need to stop being immature babies and realize people can change their views overtime:camby:

the ex-con example is to hilgiht disingenuousness towards Biden's record and efforts
There was a politician that was allowed to run twice that had similar record of catering to corporate, being more centrist, and not trying to make drastic changes

vast majority yes, but in close races a few thousand votes here and there can be difference

no one said anything about dealing with irrational....deflection

question is which view is going to attract the greatest number of votes - the biden/schultz strategy of kicking hippies isn't going to win anything

Derailment - OMFG WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!
This is what I'm talking about.

FAH1223 gets to whine and complain openly about ANY candidate on this forum but the moment you make a thread against Bernie Sanders he straight up deletes the thread and starts issuing warning points.

He's a complete fraud.

In 2016 progressives told me in order to win over new voters we should talk positive policy and not talk about why we shouldn't vote for someone else.

Get ready for a a year and some change of progressives saying so and so did this in the past therefore we shouldn't vote for them and moderates saying there's no point in voting for progressives because their initiatives are DOA in congress.

4 more years of conservative rule :blessed:
Maybe 8 years of trump total won’t be so bad after all :yeshrug: let’s give him a chance like Van Jones said

Trash candidate that couldn't get close to winning the last 2 times he ran...more neoliberal trash that will crowd the field for anyone that is truly progressive and willing to address the real issues going on in this country :camby:

Joe Biden is the most popular presidential candidate in America.
:camumm:

Progressives aren't the only liberals who stayed home the last election.
:camumm:

Anyway, if someone stays home as a protest vote because the country isn't liberal enough they're irrational or a liar. The president isn't the only person up for election.

People who don't vote, complain about the government are acting in bad faith. :Pressley:
